The FP&A team is critical to fostering this growth by providing high-impact analysis to VD Media’s business leaders. We seek a Commercial Finance Analyst to support VD Media’s planning and analysis needs as our business continues through its exciting growth phase. ‘The idea candidate sits at the heart of VD Media's decision-making process and supports its rapid growth and success.’
The role:
The Commercial Finance Manager is accountable for business partnering with commercial leaders to aid and support the delivery of the business plan.
Your role will see you working very closely with the delivery and commercial teams to aid and support a number of high-value projects. You will analyze performance across commercial business units & functions and partner with business leaders to support their commercial decisions. You will use your experience to spot and identify opportunities and performance issues to help accelerate growth and avoid risks.
You will manage and deliver commercial projects, prioritizing the highest-value projects. You will also lead in developing commercial plans that feed the quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Business partner with senior stakeholders
- Provide financial insight for key strategy decisions
- Work collaboratively with business units (hubs) to understand commercial performance
- Work with business units to develop ambitious yet achievable commercial annual and in-year budgets/forecasts
- Support delivery of VD Media strategy analysing KPIs to identify risks and opportunities
- Partner with Commercial Leaders to support an effective and impactful Trading Governance process
- Challenge performance across the business to drive efficiencies
- Business case creation and assessment

Our Ideal Profiler:
- Loves building financial models in Excel including complex formulae, automated worksheets and high-data volumes
- Have at least 1 year of experience in the igaming and betting industry
- You’re exceptionally detail-oriented and data-driven
- Great at innovating systems, optimising and automating processes
- Personable and effective communicator with strong presentation skills
- Builds strong and lasting relationships – you’ll love helping others and take great satisfaction from supporting projects
